Mike is the research and development partner for HK, overseeing the strategy for firm-of-the-future issues and people development. Mike has 25 years of experience in public accounting, including 5 with a Big 4 firm and 17 in the national office of a Top 5 firm. In addition, Mike has spent 6 years as the controller for a privately held food company with responsibilities over internal financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting, cost accounting, and credit and collection. Mike received his B.B.A. and M.A. in accounting from the University of Iowa.
