Dave began his career in 2006 working for a regional accounting firm in the audit department. He then moved to a smaller firm to further his professional passion for working with small and medium sized businesses and provide more client interaction. He soon developed a passion in tax consulting and decided that working in taxation full-time motivated him.
Since high school, Dave realized he wasn’t going to be a rock star and determined accounting to be sound career choice. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in Accounting, from Hillsdale College in Michigan. He met his wife, Jennifer, at Hillsdale and both decided to pursue graduate degrees at Indiana University-Purdue University in Indianapolis. Dave finished his Masters in Professional Accountancy degree in the Spring of 2006 and passed the CPA Exam later that year.
KA International Tax LLC
Managing Director
Susan has served clients with international tax issues in various capacities.
While at KPMG, she worked with corporate clients with international assignment programs needing assistance maintaining tax and payroll compliance in the U.S. and non-U.S. jurisdictions.
At The Wolf Group, Susan worked with staff, consultants and retirees of International Organizations, including The World Bank, International Monetary Fund, OECD and United Nations. That was also when the IRS began its Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Initiative (and various offshoots) starting a wave of voluntary disclosures for clients who had unreported offshore assets and/or income.
At Andersen Tax, she worked with clients with beneficial ownership of offshore assets such as foreign trusts, closely-held foreign entities, passive foreign investment companies or other foreign business or investment assets that affect their U.S. tax planning and compliance.
Now, at KA International Tax, Susan works with clients in all of these capacities.
